Finished Basement with Custom Built-Ins
An unfinished lower level turned into a full family living space with bespoke joinery and layered lighting.
This project began with a conversation about what the space needed to do: somewhere to relax, somewhere for guests, and storage that did not eat into the room.
We zoned the floor plan accordingly, keeping the services tucked away and using the lighting design to make a low-ceilinged space feel considerably taller than it is.
Finishes were kept warm and durable, which suits a room that sees heavy day-to-day use.
