An unfinished lower level turned into a full family living space with bespoke joinery and layered lighting.
Before any boards were laid the subfloor was checked for level, movement and moisture, and corrected where needed. Skipping that step is what produces the squeaks and gaps that appear a year later.
The flooring was set out so that the run carries cleanly through the living areas without awkward transitions, and the thresholds and skirting were finished to match.
