Hardwood flooring installation running through an open plan living space

Most flooring complaints trace back to preparation rather than the material itself.

What the work covers

We install hardwood, engineered timber, luxury vinyl plank, tile and laminate throughout the home, including the transitions and trim that make a job look finished rather than merely laid.

Before any material goes down we check the subfloor for level, movement and moisture, and correct what needs correcting. Skipping that step is what produces the squeaks, gaps and cracked grout lines that show up a year later.

Flooring often runs alongside a wider remodel, so we sequence it with the other trades to avoid damage to a newly finished floor.

1

Subfloor preparation

Checking level, movement and moisture before anything is laid, and correcting what needs correcting, because this is where most flooring problems begin.

2

Hardwood and engineered timber

Supply and installation of solid and engineered timber, including refinishing existing boards where they are worth saving.

3

Tile and luxury vinyl

Tile, LVP and laminate installation throughout wet and high-traffic areas, laid out so that cuts and joins fall where they are least visible.

4

Transitions and trim

Thresholds, skirting and stair nosings finished cleanly, which is the difference between a floor that is laid and a floor that looks finished.
